We remarket and recycle large batches of phones. Here’s how the flow works inside our facility.
Everything starts with intake. Devices arrive in sealed containers, and each unit is logged with its identifiers. IMEIs and serial numbers are checked, counted, and entered into our system before anything else happens.
From there, every phone follows one of two paths: remarketing or recycling. The path depends on the condition of the device and the instructions given at the start of the engagement.
For the remarketing path, we work through a fixed sequence:
- Inspection of the hardware
- Storage media handling (wiping with a verifiable audit trail)
- Functional checks
- Component replacement if required
- Cleaning and preparation for testing
- Final confirmation before the device re-enters the market
Each stage leaves a traceable record. The wiping certificate ties back to the identifier. Test notes and condition grades are stored in the same entry. Nothing is cleared for resale without a complete log.
For the recycling path, the sequence is just as controlled:
- Identification and sorting
- Removal of storage media
- Application of the chosen destruction method
- Fragment checks for physical destruction
- Material separation for plastics, metals, and boards
- Routing to the appropriate recovery lines
Every method has corresponding documentation. Certificates for wiping or physical destruction are linked to the device list from the intake stage.
Operational timing depends on the schedule agreed with the client. Some batches are processed immediately, others move through planned cycles. We follow the SLA so the reporting stays predictable and the volume management remains steady.
The final stage is reporting. Each batch receives a file containing identifiers, processing notes, certificates, and the output summary. It closes the loop and makes the entire chain easy to audit.
This routine has been stable for years. Large volumes only work when every step leaves a record, and every device has a clear end point.
